Taraba Big Creek Outfitters offers whitetail deer hunting. We are located in Northwest Missouri just outside of Bethany, in Harrison County. We have over 1400 acres  of hardwood timber, croplands and CRP. All of our hunts are semi guided. The guide will show you the area that you will be hunting and the stand locations. We offer hunts for both Archery and Firearms. Harrison county in which we reside has a 4 point antler restriction. Therefore any buck taken must have at least four points on one side. We have ladder stands that will be placed in the best possible locations to insure the opportunity of harvesting a whitetail deer of your choice.  If you prefer, and have a climbing tree stand that you like. You are welcome to bring it along. We have safety harnesses available if you do not have one. We would like for you to have a safe and successful hunt, so we require that all persons using tree stands wear a safety device. If you would rather stay on the ground. We have box blinds that will be set up for use during the firearms hunting season. There is dining, lodging, a Walmart store, along with a meat processing facility located within 10 miles of the hunting areas. There are local archery and firearms dealers in the area as well.  There is to be no alcohol use during the hunts.
